CARROLL Anita M. Carroll, 70 of Ponte Vedra Beach, died peacefully on October 17, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born February 14, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach since she moved from New York in 1996. She was the daughter of the late Savario and Marie Pozzuto DeSimone. Family members include her loving husband, William J. Carroll, Sr.; two sons, William J. Carroll, Jr. of Allison Park, PA and Mark (Christy) Carroll of Atlantic Beach, FL; four grandchildren and one cousin, Joan McGinnis of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 19th, at Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 20th, in the St. Paul's Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach with the Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant. A reception will follow in the Family life Center of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cem etery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
