CARIBOU - Anita J. Michaud, 49, died Sept. 13, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at her residence after a brief illness. She was born July 6, 1962, in Fort Fairfield, daughter of Norman and Verna (Pelkey) Johndro. Anita was a graduate of Limestone High School and was employed as a paralegal with the firm of Currier and Trask for more than 17 years. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Ronald "Danny" Michaud of Caribou and her parents, Norman and Verna Johndro of Limestone, are her son, Jacob of Caribou; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Cuppy Johndro of Caribou; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Penny and Arkon Horne of Presque Isle, Lisa and George LaCasse of Caribou, and Paula Pischke of Limestone; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Aaron Damboise officiating. After the service all are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshments at the parish hall.
