Anise-Mayes Bell, spouse of Carlton-Eugene Bell, daughter of Edward and Dixie-Wade, died on January 15, 2009.
Garland Retiree PHENIX CITY, Ala. - Mrs. Anise Mayes Bell, 88 formerly of Camak, Ga. died Thurs., Jan. 15, 2009 in Phenix City, Ala. Funeral services will be held Sat., Jan. 17, 2009 at 2 o'clock p.m. at Camak United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bell's grandson, Rev. Kevin Stone will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bell, daughter of the late Edward T. and Dixie Wade Mayes, had lived in Camak most of her life. She was a homemaker, a member of Camak United Methodist Church, and had been employed by Garland Knitting Mills. Her husband of 52 years, Carlton Eugene Bell, preceded her in death. Survivors: Daughters: Dixie Jenkins, Milner, Ga. Laura Stone, Phenix City, Al.; Son: Gene Bell, New Orleans, La.; Sisters: Bertie Ferguson, and Lillian Dean; Grandchildren: Jamey Jenkins, Jon Jenkins, Jenny Polk, Rev. Kevin Stone, Kristi Moore, Ryan Bell, Ian Bell, and Kathleen Bell; 11 Great-grandchildren.
