MILLER, Angie Elizabeth, 86, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010. She was born October 23, 1923, in Pomeroy, Ohio to Aten and Edith Pearl (Geary) Shain. Angie and her late husband, Lew, and family moved to Avon Park, Fla., in 1956, where they raised their two daughters, Patricia and Barbara. She was a registered nurse working for Dr. Ostling and Dr. Geldart for over 25 years. After moving to St. Petersburg in 1980, she continued nursing, working for Dr. Jack Clark, Lee and Williams, and Dr. Rehnke. Angie was active in nursing, continuing to work until she was 83 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lew Miller. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Sanders of Lakeland, Fla., and Patricia Earnest of Tucson, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Christopher Earnest and Jennifer Earnest. Funeral services for Angie Elizabeth Miller will take place 4 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
