->Gentile, Angela RosaAngela Rosa Gentile passed away on November 18, 2012. She was born in Italy on May 30, 1938 to Vito DiPaola and Elvira (Celetti). In February of 1972, she and her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Mt. Vernon, NY where they lived for 30 years before moving into Rockland County. Angela worked for many years for Kings Electric in Tuckahoe, NY before retiring in 2000. Her family was her heart and soul. She truly enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. She was a loving, caring, friendly person and enjoyed having company. She is survived by her husband, Pietro; her daughter, Angela (David) Thompson; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Salvatore and Adriana Gentile. She is also survived by her siblings, Nicola (Lorenza), Michele (Olga), Antoinette (Gerri), Pasquale (Grace) and Gerardo (Raphaela) Di Paola. She is predeceased by her son, Salvatore, in 2003.Family will receive visitors today from 2-4 & 6-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service in New City, NY.
