On Wednesday, March 14, 2012 God opened heaven's gates and called His beautiful angel home. Angela was born and raised in Springfield, MO. She was the baby of the family and the only girl. Her daddy affectionately called her "Tubbs." She graduated from Central High School. At an early age, she joined Gibson Chapel Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir. After returning to Springfield, she continued her fellowship with Gibson Chapel where she remained a faithful member until her passing. Angela was employed by the IRS and IBM until her health failed her.She met and married the love of her life, Ray, and to this union two boys were born. She dearly loved her "three boys", and they dearly loved her. Angela was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all. She was loved by all who knew her. That smile of hers was so beautiful and just lit up the room whenever she entered. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Dennis Shockley, Sr.; her father-in-law, Clifton Ray Jackson, Sr.; her grandparents, Mary and Douglas Shockley, Sr. and Ola and Wilburn Anderson.Angela leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her loving husband, Clifton Ray Jackson, Jr. of Dallas, TX; two sons, Angelo DeRay Jackson and D'Maray Kwamane Jackson; mother, Colleen Shockley; mother-in-law, Gloria Jackson; two brothers, Dennis Eugene Shockley and Larry Dennis Shockley, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery.
