Andrew H. Howell PELION - Funeral services for Andrew H. Howell, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Howell was born July 22, 1926 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was the son of the late Walter James Howell and Mary M. Powers Howell. Mr. Howell served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He worked as a Bus Line Driver for Greyhound and was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church, a member of the VFW, American Legions in Cayce and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his daughters, Dora Lee McBurney, Mandee G. Alvarez and Debra A. Owen; sons, Andrew H. Howell, Jr., Walter J. Howell, Steven L.
