TUSCALOOSA Andrew David Owens was born prematurely at 23 weeks gestation, March 21, 2010, at 6:51 a.m. at DCH Regional Medical Center. Andrew was stillborn and has returned to the arms of our Lord. Andrew is the son of Darren and Kristina Pugh Owens of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is also survived by his brothers (also born at 23 weeks gestation), Brandon Matthew Owens, Christopher Jacob Owens; his grandparents, Winston and Carolyn Owens, Beth and Jerry Laughlin, Eddie and Cherry Pugh, all of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; his great-grandmother, Shirley Shaw of Rockford, Ala.; his aunt and uncles: Kimberly Pugh and Brian Champion, Kyle Pugh; cousins, Madison Pugh and Savannah Champion; and step-cousins Tyler and Olivia Champion; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Rev. Bobby Ray Shaw, great-grandparents Maurice and Ruby Pugh, great-grandparents Woodfin and Ida Owens, George W. and Bertie RobertsonThere was a memorial service for Andrew held March 24, 2010, at the DCH Regional Medical Center Chapel.
