She was a member of Abyssinia Baptist Church. She was also a member of the the Higher Voices Chorus. Survivors: daughters, Kaiesha McCombs and Sierra Wright both of Savannah; sons, Shawn Smith and Joseph Wright, Jr. both of Savannah; parents, Asa Leonard and Shirley Ann Smith both of Savannah; paternal grandmother, Nancy Smith of Garden City; sister, Debra Ann LaCount of Savannah; brothers, Earl (Cheriss) Jackson, Rickey (Joanne) Jackson, Asa Smith Jr., Tyrone (Monica) Smith and Jawara (Tamika) Smith all of Savannah; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
