PELHAM, N.H. - Andre M. Drouin, 76, a retired inspector from General Electric in Lowell, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 11, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. He was the husband of 53 years of Aline (Bellemare) Drouin.Born in Lowell on May 8, 1927, a son of the late Joseph and Lucienne (Geoffroy) Drouin, he attended Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Elementary School and Lowell Trade High School.He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.Before retiring, Mr. Drouin worked at the General Electric Wire and Cable plant in Lowell for more than 30 years. He was a former member of the Centralville Social Club in Lowell.Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Jeanne (Drouin) Dean of Pelham; two sons and daughters-in-law, John P. and Irene Drouin of Epping, N.H., and Michael A. and Katie Drouin of Deerfield, N.H.; 10 grandchildren, Christine Baker, Jon, Michael, Leah, Deanna and Jenny Drouin, Tricia Noel, and Nicole, Tanya and Bobby Dean; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Noel and Ethan Drouin; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Theresa and Robert Ross of Nashua and Claire Grondin of Lowell; a brother, Lionel Drouin of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of the late Michael Drouin.
