FORTIER, André The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Monday, April 18, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Son of the late Aimé and of the late Laura (née Vinette) Fortier. Loving father of Louise Park (Michael) of Seeley's Bay and Pierre Fortier (Michèle) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his son Mario. Lovingly remembered by one brother and by one sister. Predeceased by his 2 brothers and by his 3 sisters. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Ryan Crozier of Sault-Ste-Marie, Patrick Crozier, Denis Fortier and Eric Fortier all of Sudbury and by 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Fortier was retired from the Catholic School Board where he worked for 18 years. André was a long time member of the "Club Richelieu de Sudbury". He appreciated nature and was an avid outdoorsman and golfer. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
