The funeral service of Mrs. Amanda Smith will be held Friday January 9 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurt's Chapel CME Church with Rev. Kervie Thomas of Beech Grove CME Church officiating. Burial will me in Hurt's Memorial Gardens. She will lie in state Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Smith a graduate of Merry High School Class of 1947 and a 1951 graduate of Lane College died Sunday January 4 2004 at West TN Transitional Care. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles H. Smith of Pinson TN; one son Erich Von Smith Sharon of Elkridge MD; two grandchildren Leah and Connor Smith of Elkridge MD; five sister Minnie Grace Pack of Pinson TN Ina Faye Steel Clarence of Jackson TN Nina M.
