CLIFTON PARK Amanda Jill Morrison, age 20, died suddenly of injuries sustained in an accident in Colorado. She was born in Albany and graduated from the Albany Academy for Girls in 2002. She was the president of her class. Amanda resided in Colorado Springs while attending Colorado College. Mandy was in her junior year and just had declared her major, biochemistry. Mandy is the beloved daughter of Lewis R. Morrison and Phyllis S. Morrison. She is the cherished sister of Jeremy Morrison and his wife Connie, David Morrison and Lauri Rasnick and her husband Michael. Mandy is one of the granddaughters of Jack Morrison and Jeanette Morrison and the late William Ackerman and Ethel Ackerman. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins survive. Mandy, a shining example of all things good in this world, will be missed immeasurably by all who knew and loved her. Services at Temple Israel, 600 New Scotland Avenue, Albany on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow services in the Beth Shalom Cemetery, Rotterdam, N.Y. The Period of Mourning will be observed at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Phyllis Morrison, 7 Bear Brook Court, Clifton Park. Commencing on Sunday following the service of interment and continuing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 12 noon and on Friday from 12 noon to 2 p.m., there will be a Minyan service at the residence on Sunday through Thursday evenings at 7:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amanda Morrison Scholarship fund at the Albany Girls Academy, 140 Academy Road, Albany, NY 12208.
