Alma Lee Taylor, 85, died on March 11, 2009 at Lawrence Hospital attended by beloved husband Lucious Taylor and family. Devoted mother of eight, grandmother of eighteen, great grandmother of ten, great-great grandmother of six. Lauded 25 years of service by Children's Village, Dobbs Ferry. Foster parent of fifteen. A staunch advocate of child care as Co-founder of Eastchester Community Action Program and Headstart of Tuckahoe, volunteer and political committee member. The recipient of many accolades and awards, Mrs. Taylor was revered by her village and throughout Westchester County. Visitation Monday 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Emmanuel XME Church, 9 VanDusen Place, Tuckahoe, NY 10707 followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
