WHISSELL, Alma (née Lemieux) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Daughter of the late Ephreme and of the late Rosalia (née Beauparlant) Lemieux. Beloved wife of Gérald Whissell of Sudbury. Loving mother of Monique Whissell of Sudbury, Denis Whissell (Monique) of Coniston and Lise Whissell of Sudbury. Dear sister of Hélène Dignard (late Armand) of Sturgeon Falls, Fernande Groulx of Ottawa, Yvette Plante (Walter) of Sudbury, Jacqueline Whissell (Déa) of Coniston and Monique Dennie (Ray) of Shreveport, Louisianna, U.S.A. Predeceased by her brother Maurice Lemieux (Noëlla of St-Charles). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Joël and Patrick. Alma was a kind, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E., (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in La Toussaint Church, Sudbury.
