SMITH Alma Jane Smith, 82, born November 16, 1924 to Worthy and Lossie Martin in Douglas, Ga., passed away February 26, 2007 in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. She resided in Neptune Beach, FL since 1964. She was a homemaker and long-time member and volunteer of Neptune Baptist Church. Predeceased by her husband, O. Murl Smith and her son, William Murl Smith. Survived by her daughters, Sandra M. Williams and Gale Killmer Tassin, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2007 at the funeral home with a funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Neptune Baptist Church, 407 Third Street, Neptune Beach- 904 249-2307, with the Rev. Thomas L. Bary, Jr. officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville.
