Alma Corbin Davis, 103, of Graceville died at her home in Graceville on Sept. 19, 2009. She was born in Washington County on Sept. 6, 1906 to the late Jonathan J. and Florence Barton Morris. She worked with Gold Kist Peanut for over 25 years and then worked with Grady's Seafood for over 50 years, retiring at the age of 98. A woman of true character, she was never idle. She is preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Pelham and granddaughter Kathy George Gilmore. Survivors include her children, Allie Jenkins and husband Harold, and Johnnie George, all of Graceville, and Mitchell Pelham of Dothan; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sept. 21 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Toole officiating. Burial followed in Collins Mill Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
