Born in Greenville, he was the son of Albert and Virgie Christopher Tucker. He retired from John D. Hollingsworth after 33 years of employment and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Anita Tucker Moore, son-in-law, Bob Moore and grandson, Evan Moore of Columbia, four brothers, Dave, Jim, Ken and Mike Tucker, three sisters, Martha Tucker, Faye Bryan and Judy Merck. One brother, Leroy Tucker, is deceased.Visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest 6710 White Horse Road with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel.
