Restaurant IndustrySANFORD -- Mr. Allen Parker of Sanford died of brain hemmorage Monday (Dec. 2, 2002) at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford. He was 58.Born on Banana River Naval Base in Cocoa Beach on June 30, 1944, he moved here from Cocoa Beach in 1999. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Florida State University. He later worked in the restaurant management and food service industry for more than 25 years. He was area supervisor and franchise consultant for Sonny's Real Pit Bar B.Q. in Gainesville. He was owner and operator of Patrick Market and Deli, Cocoa Beach, from 1993 to 1999.Mr. Parker is survived by his brother, Brent Parker, Sanford; and sisters, Judy Griffis, Winter Haven, and Lia Grassman, Rockledge.A private celebration of his life will be held Sunday at his siter's home in Rockledge.
