Obituary of Allan-D. Carter

Allan D. Carter, 77, formerly of Mahopac, died July 4, 2008, in Port St.Lucie, Fl. He was born on December 3, 1930 in New York City. He proudly served with the U.S. Army from 1948-1951 and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He worked as a Railroad Engineer for 43 years, before retiring in 1995. He leaves his loving wife Ann, his wife of 56 years and five children; Patricia, Allan, Tim, Robert and Linda, seven grandchildren and his brother Thomas, who will all dearly miss him. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th at 11:00 AM at St. John's The Evangelist R.C. (Mahopac, NY). Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc. (845)628-5655.
