Alida Drisdelle 1901 - 2002 SHEDIAC, NB - Alida Drisdelle, 100, wife of the late Timothée Drisdelle, of Villa Providence Home, Shediac, formerly of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2002 at the residence. Born November 14, 1901 in St-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late Edouard Cormier and Cecile Richard. She is survived by four daughters: Elizabeth May of Dieppe, Cecilia Doucette (Kenneth) of Brantford, ON, Yvette Buckley (Harold) of Halifax, NS, Dorita Jones (James) of Halifax; three sons: Arthur (Nola) of Halifax, NS, Gerald (Dora) of Dieppe, Valerie (Sue) of Penobsquis, 28 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by a daughter Doris Benoit; her sisters: Edna Girouard, Sister Émélia Cormier, Émilienne Maillet, Elmire LeBlanc, Marie-Rose Richard; brothers: Alban, Eric, Honoré, and Auguste Cormier. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m, Monday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday September 9, 2002 at St-Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church (Lewisville). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
