ANDERSON, Alicia Marie (nee Boileau) 1933 2011 Passed away peacefully November 26, 2011. Beloved wife of Bob. Loving mother of Bill (Astrid), Margaret (Gordon), Cathy (Steve), Michelle, Stephen (Christine), Debbie (Stewart), and Jennifer (Ian). Leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Kenneth in 1987. Alicia was born in Maillardville, Coquitlam, her home with two brothers and one sister for 18 years. She graduated from St Paul's School of Nursing in September 1954. Nursing was her true vocation. She was a devoted christian of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Catholic Woman's League for 41 years, 8 years as President. She worked quietly in the background for her church and for her charitable work. Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Elizabeth's Church, address #10030 3rd Street, Sidney, B.C., on Monday December 5, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. No flowers please. Donations may be made in Alicia's name to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, 2166 Mt. Newton X Road Saanich, B.C. V8M 2B2. The family wish to thank Alicia's friends Clare Blore, Andrea Webb, and Breda Teh for their faithful support and weekly visits to Alicia over the past year, as well as Father Rolf and the St. Elizabeth's Eucharistic visitors. Grateful thanks to the caring staff and volunteers of E.C.U. 2 at S.P.H. 643937
