Clifton Springs- Alice W. Howell age 86 passéd away on Thursday (Feb. 13, 2014) at the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.Friends may call from 4p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday (Feb. 17) at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. A Celebration of Alice's life will be held 10 a.m. Tue. (Feb.18) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Home Activity Fund in Alice's memory.Alice was born January 26, 1928 in Brockport, N.Y. the daughter of the late Horace and Marjorie Hull and had lived in the area all of her life. Before her retirement she worked for Devereaux's Bookstore, Clifton Springs Big M and Labelon in Canandaigua. Alice enjoyed camping, bingo, country music and traveling with her husband, Curtis. But most important to Alice was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 71 years, Curtis Howell Sr.; children, Curtis Howell Jr. of Irondequoit and Debbie (Steve) Close of Manchester; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Alice is predeceased by her parents; daughter, Judy Wallace; two granddaughters.
