Alice Virginia Burke Alice Virginia Burke WHITINGSVILLE Alice Virginia Burke, 88, of Whitinsville, Mass. died Saturday, December 19, 2009 in St. Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville, Mass. She was born in West Bridgewater, Mass., daughter of the late T. Francis and Maria T. (Gormley) Burke. Miss Burke attended schools in Brockton, Mass. She was employed by American Airlines in its reservation department and was involved in the production of numerous variety shows for the airline. She also worked as a dental assistant for the United States Army at Fort Devens. She had lived in Upton, Marlboro and Brighton, Mass. where she was a parishoner of St. Gabriels Parish. Miss Burke is survived by her sister-in-law, A. June Burke of Sudbury, Mass. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., Milford, MA. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, Medway, Mass. Calling hours will be Wednesday 9 a.m.-10 .a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Miss Burkes memory to St. Camillus Health Center, 447 Hill St., Whitinsville, MA 01588-1096.
