MANCHESTER -- Alice T. Croteau, 91, died Jan. 23, 2011, at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.She was born in Manchester, Aug. 1, 1919, to Michael and Barbara (Czaban) Tyzbir and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.She was a graduate of Manchester West High School.Prior to her retirement she had worked for J. F. McElwain Shoe.She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church.She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Croteau, on March 23, 2008.Family members include three sons, Richard Croteau of Boise, Idaho, Ronald Croteau of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Gerard Croteau of Lexington, Mass.; one daughter, Theresa Wirtz of Goffstown; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.IN HER LIFE: She was predeceased by her sister, Rose Charest, and her brother Andrew Tyzbir.SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 South Elm St., Manchester.
