Alice (Carole) Stone -Jacksonville, FL- Alice (Carole) Stone, 74, departed this life on Wednesday October 4, 2006. Carole was an elementary teacher for 25 years Teaching at Hyde Grove Elementary and Mamie Agnes Jones in Baldwin. She taught Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th Grade. She was also a Baptist by Faith. She is predeceased by her mother, Lillian Harrison, father, AP Stone, brother, Talmadge Blizzard, sister, Erma B. Smith. She is survived by neice Ila Brooks (Douglas) of Ivey, Georgia, Sherril Peterson of Griffin, Georgia, and Gene Blizzard, Kenny Blizzard (Lucy), Larry Smith (Linda), Dorothy Cook (Leon) WM (Bill) Smith and special friend Jacob Barber, all of Georgia. Life long friend Edna Shumake, Buddy Shumake, and Irene Fordham of Jacksonville, Florida. Viewing is Saturday October 7, 2006 form 6:00PM to 8:00 PM, at Hardage -Giddens Funeral Home, 729 South Edgewood Avenue. Internment will be Monday October 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Glenwood City Cemetery, there will be a viewing Sunday October 8, 2006 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Ronnie Stewarts Funeral, Glenwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
