Love, 82, a retired nurse's aide from Cayuga Medical Center, died Monday, September 29, 2003, at Cayuga Medical Center.Mrs. Love was born November 24, 1920 in Bamburgh, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Elias and Rebecca Glover Broughton.Alice Love was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Ithaca where she sang in the Senior Choir, as well as hosted and baked for the hospitality ministry. Mrs. Love was a graduate if Ithaca High School and enjoyed cooking and singing.Mrs. Love is survived by her five children, Sybil Marshall of Fort Washington, MD, Joyce Cardone and Beverly Gaines, both of Rochester, Janice Eastman of Ithaca, and Deborah Love of Houston, TX; three step children, Mary Ellen (William) Clemons of San Bernardino, CA, Rev. Dr. Herbert (Marie) Love Jr., of Oxon Hills, MD; a brother, Charles Broughton of Ithaca and a sister, Ann (Melvin) Thompson of Rochester; a devoted niece, Constance Broughton of New York City. She is also survived by several grandchildren and one niece.Mrs. Love was predeceased by her husband, Herbert Cornelius Love; her son, Michael Terry Love, who died, August 12, 2003; and a sister, Ertherlee Broughton.Friends may call Friday, October 3, 2003, at 10 a.m. until service time of 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be at the Calvary Baptist Church, 507 N.
