PETERS, Alice Marie (nee Rowland)Passed away suddenly on October 22, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Predeceased by husbands, Robert John Peters (November 1988) and Tats Yamamoto (November 1998). Alice will be deeply missed by daughter Karen (Wayne), sons Rob (Elaine) and Doug (Colleen), grandchildren; Jason, Jamey, Alanna, Amber, Bradley, Michelle, Derek, Rhonda and Dylan. Great-grandchildren; Gavin, Hailey, Matthew, Kaylee, Marilyn, MacKenna, Zoe, Kevin and Ashley. Alice was born and raised in Vancouver. She was a lifetime member and volunteer for Victoria Drive Community Hall and the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 2075. She loved playing crib and watching baseball ("Go Mariners Go"). She kept busy crocheting, knitting and crafts, as well as countless hours, over the years, volunteering at the Eagles Club. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Eagles Club, 7 West 7th Ave., Vancouver. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a child's charity of your choice.
