MITCHELL, Alice - In her 92nd year at G.N.G.H. on Feb. 17, 2003. Predeceased by her husband, Sidney in 1973, and great granddaughter Eva in 2000. Dear mother of Barbara Carter (Tony) and Valerie Cooper (Paul). Loving grandmother of Joanne (Hicks), Valerie (Wiebe), Geoffrey and Paul Cooper. Dear great Nanny of Mitchell, Shawn, Katie, Mark, Alex, Emily, Bailey and Matthew. Also, numerous nephews and nieces in the U.K. Mrs. Mitchell came to Canada in 1966 settling in Niagara Falls. Mrs. Mitchell has been a resident of Grey Cliff Manor for the past 3 years. The family will receive friends at the Niagara Funeral Home on Wed. Feb. 19 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thurs. Feb. 20, 2003, at 1 p.m. Rev. Bill Bresnahan to officiate. Interment to be held in Fairview Cemetery.
