ALICE LORENEJACKSON, 82Homemaker LAKELAND - Alice Lorene Jackson, of Lakeland, died April 26, 2008 from congestive heart failure. She was 82. She was born on November 25, 1925 in Lakeland and was a lifelong resident. She has been a member of Gibsonia Baptist Church for over 50 years. She spent her early years working in Harry's Lunch Room in Lakeland and working in the school cafeteria at Ed Padgett School. After retiring she loved fishing with her husband, working with her flowers and participating in her church activities. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Jackson Sr. She is survived by her daughter: Linda Bath and husband Ronald of Lakeland; son Butch Jackson and wife Patricia of Mulberry; brother William Bowen of Lakeland; and sister Francis Inmon of Bushnell, FL.; grandchildren: Jarrod Bath of Vero Beach, Daniel Bath, Betty Jo Jackson and Rebekah Cote, all of Lakeland. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 10-11 AM at Heath Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the chapel. In lieu of flowers make donation to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1919 Lakeland Hills Blvd. Condolences may also be sent to the family at heathfuneralchapel.com
