TEWKSBURY -- Alice L. (Beati) Sullivan, 87, a Tewksbury resident who worked at military bases in Greater Lowell, died Wednesday, March 30, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of Timothy A. Sullivan, to whom she was married for 42 years.She was born in Lowell on March 22, 1918, a daughter of the late Antonio J. and the late Anna M. (Andreoli) Beati. She attended St. Peter's Grammar School and graduated from Lowell High School in1937.Mrs. Sullivan worked in Washington, D.C., at Eleanor Roosevelt in the Office of Civilian Defense. She later worked in the post engineer's office at Fort Devens, and then at the base engineer's office at Hanscom Field Air Force Base in Bedford. Before her retirement, she was a administrative assistant for the AWAC Systems project office.Mrs. Sullivan was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Andover.An avid reader, she also enjoyed the opera and gardening. She was also a gourmet cookIn addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Richard P. Beati of Lowell; her nieces and nephews, Christina Martin, Susan Wilson, Paul Wilson, Mark Beati, Todd Beati, Phillip Beati, David Beati, Lisa Beati-Lake, Stephen Beati, Karen Follett, Mary Pyne, Peggy Sullivan-Mansour. She also leaves many grandnieces and grandnephews; a brother-in-law, Joseph F. Sullivan, and two sisters-in-law, Anna T. Sullivan and Ann Sullivan.She was also the sister of the late M. Madeline Beati, Christina M. Beati, Lucy R. Wilson, and Anthony J. Beati, and sister-in-law of the late Paul J. Sullivan and John F. Sullivan.
