Alice Jean (Hilpp) Johnson, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.She was born on Oct. 30, 1926 in Bardstown to the late Adolph Hilpp Sr. and Julia (Abell) Hilpp. She grew up in Lebanon and attended and graduated from St. Augustine High School. She was a member of Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Louisville, where she also was a senior club and woman's club member.She was preceded in death by: her son, Doug Johnson and daughter-in-law, Pam Johnson.Survivors include: her loving husband, David Johnson Sr.; sons, David Jr. and Robert Johnson; daughters, Sarah Wilding (George) of Frankfort, Julie Hayden (Jeff) of Bardstown, and Nancy Johnson, of Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Adolph Hilpp.Expressions of sympathy may be made to the senior club or woman's club at Sts.
