Obituary of Alice-Inez-Howard Shaw


SHAW Alice Inez Howard Shaw was born to Henry Richardson Howard and Alice May Baker Howard on August 21, 1918 in New Augustine, FL. Alice went to be with the Lord December 5, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Alice was married to Thomas Benjamin Harris for 26 years, the father of her living children, Jack B. Harris (Joanne), Jewel I. McLendon (Edd), Thelma Mae Spengler, (Jack), M. Marie Jeter, Kenneth J. Harris (Aprill), Randall E. Harris, Peggy A. Harris, Katheryn E. Wilson, 26 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 9 great, great grandchildren, 2 living sisters, Louise Marie Saunders of Orange Park and Ruth Holt of Effingham, Ill. She was a long standing member of First Baptist Church of Orange Park, FL. She retired after 37 years at the Navy Exchange, NAS Jax, FL. Later years she married Claude Shaw and after his death she enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Viewing to be held at Hardage- Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 8, at First Baptist Church, Kingsley Ave., Orange Park.
