GAMACHE _ Alice Anna Aimee (nee Cheramy) - Born June 16, 1916 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Died April 22, 2007 at the Royal Columbian Hospital, just hours after being admitted. Predeceased by her beloved husband Rene in June, 2000. Survived by her son Gene (Jane) and her daughter Lynne; by five grandchildren: Gianna (Lance KcKinnon), Elana, Zoe, Michael and Britt; and by two great-grandchildren: Emilie and Carter McKinnon. After 60 years of happy married life spent raising a family, building several homes, fishing all over BC, and traveling the world, Alice and Rene moved into the Foyer Maillard in 1997. Alice stayed on, after Rene's death in 2000, but she missed him dreadfully, and life was never the same for her. She yearned to be with him again, and now she is. Give him a hug for us, Mom. We'll miss you. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 26 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 15 Walker Avenue, Coquitlam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the same church the following morning at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice
