Obituary of Alice-Faye Frederick


EUTAW Alice Faye Frederick, age 77, of Eutaw, died Sept. 1, 2006 at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Eutaw Baptist Church with Roy Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.Her two brothers and one great-grandson preceded her in death.Survivors include her husband, Tony Frederick; daughters, Debbie (David) Harris, of Millbrook and Reeta (Eddie) Lapine of Eutaw; sons, Jackie (Doris) Frederick of Millbrook and Robbie Frederick of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Ellen Parten of Boligee and Martha Lilly of Russellville; brother, J.E. Berry of Michigan; grandchildren, Alison (Ernie) Miller, Leslie McCrackin, Samantha Frederick, Tony Robert, Hunter (Marnie) Harris, Walt Harris, Valarie Berthelot; and three great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Eddie Lapine, Tony Robert, David Harris, Hunter Harris, Walt Harris, Ernie Miller, and Will McCrackin.Honorary pallbearers will be Peggy and Roy Lee, Toni and Pee Wee McDuff, Dr. Ross Vaughn and staff, Hospice of West Alabama, and Jane Tilley.Mrs. Frederick was born in Hackelburg, Alabama to Elmer and Mary Berry. She was married for 57 years to Tony Frederick. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She was a sweet inspiration to everyone.
