Alice C. Mank, age 87, passed away at her home in Tucumcari on Thursday, June 18, 2009, following an extended illness.  Alice was born January 9, 1922, in Gardner, Maine. She had been a resident of Tucumcari for the past 16 years. She had been a home maker.  Surviving Alice Mank is her husband, Vernon G. Mank of Tucumcari; her son, Jim Mank of Winkelman, Arizona; her daughters, Diane Thomas and Becky Hampton both of Tucumcari, New Mexico;  6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Also surviving are two brothers and five sisters.  Graveside memorial services will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2009, at 1:00 PM in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemtery with Rev Ray Clark officiating.  Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.
