Alice Allin, spouse of Jim Allin, died on October 8, 1919. Please consult the obituary here:
ALLIN, Alice Born in Regina, Sask. October 8, 1919. Alice slipped away November 29, 2010, quickly and peacefully just as she had wished. She loved boating, curling, golfing, lawn bowling, bridge, majong and travel and managed to enjoy much of each until a debilitating stroke in 2000. She accepted in stride with good humour and few complaints her new limitations. She remained strong and determined to stay in her own home to the end. With the help of Delta Home Support (Com Care) and a lot of wonderful workers (They know who they are, thank you.) she did just that. Thank you to Dr. Magnuson and all those home visits. Alice was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1960. Survived by her daughter Bonnie Stroup (Gordon), son Richard Allin (Lori), grandchildren Sheri (Frank), Steve, Stacey, Eric, great granddaughter Jessica, nieces Norma (Willy) (who played cards weekly) and Lois (who emailed faithfully). At Mother's request there will be no service. Miss you already.
