Alfred J. ArchambaultFormerly of Lowell, WWll Vet; 94 LOWELL -- Alfred J. Archambault, age 94, of Dracut, former longtime resident of Lowell, died on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Lowell General Hospital.For 72 years, he was the beloved husband of Blanche M. (Vezina) Archambault.He was born in Lowell on September 15, 1920, son of the late Pierre & Amelia (Dumais) Archambault. He served in the US Army during World War II from 1942 until 1945.Prior to his retirement, he worked as a carrier for the Lowell Post Office for 20 years.Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Rita & Richard Latulippe of Dracut, and Shirley Tuson of Lowell; five grandchildren, Maria, Douglas and Michael Latulippe, James Tuson and Nicole Kopacz; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.He was the brother of the late Emiliana Bibeault, William Archambault, Laura Boucher, Marie Laferriere, Phil Archambault, Jeannette LeBlanc, Germaine LeBlanc, Cecile Goyette, and Henry Archambault.ARCHAMBAULT -- Alfred, 94.
