March 20 1916 - May 31 2012 Alfred William Garland, passed peacefully in his sleep May 31. Predeceased by first wife Marjorie, third wife Betty and eldest son Tom. Survived by son Mark (Lyn), daughter-in-law Nancy, granddaughters Gina Stockwell (Bill) & Nikki (Tony), great granddaughters Ayla & Alyssa and great grandson Dayton. Alf leaves a legacy of his love of family, the great outdoors, boating and fishing. An accomplished woodworker and amateur painter, his family is left with many pieces of his handiwork that will help carry his memory forward. A Celebration of Alf's Life will be held June 10 2012 at the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre, 5604 Trail Ave., Sechelt at 2:30 PM.
