Aubin, Alfred Edward - March 29, 1931 May 22, 2005 Alfred Edward Aubin died on Sunday, May 22, 2005 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born to William Alexander Aubin and Rosalie (Bastien) Aubin in St. Paul, MN. He served in the Naval Reserves from 1949 to 1950 and in the Army from 1950 to 1953, attaining the rank of Corporal. He also served as Mayor of St. Croix Beach, MN from 1959 to 1960. Surviving are 2 sons, William of New Brightron, MN and Charles of Hudson, WI; 4 daughters, Renee Voss of Stillwater, MN, Theresa Aubin Ahrens of Bremerton, WA, Sue Aubin Shirley of Hudson, WI and Kristine Aubin of Chicago, IL; a sister, Rosalie Taylor of Phoenix, AZ; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at Fort Snelling on July 5th at 10 AM. Published in the Pioneer Press on 7/3/2005.
