ALEXANDRINE (DIDINE) DRUWE (nee SIMON) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandrine on May 11, 2003 at the Tache Centre. Alexandrine is survived by a son Francois (Georgette); a son-in-law Jean Guy Houle; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Rose, Pauline, Joanne; sister-in-law Julienne; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1980; a son Paul in 1942; and a daughter Paulette in 2000; and sisters, Augustine and Yvonne. The family extends a special thank you to Kathryn Humpage and the Tache Nursing Home for all their care and kindness given to mom. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Alexandrine's life will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street with Rev. Bernard Pinet officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
