McPHEE - Alexander John died Monday, March 4, 2002. He was born in Brunswick, Australia on March 18, 1925 and has been a resident of Emerson since 1965. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. A.J. McPhee was a Life Member of the IEEE; a Chartered Engineer (C. Eng.), Australia; a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in New Jersey and Florida; a Fellow, Institute of Engineers, Australia; and a Membre SEE, France. He served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Military Forces, Australia during World War II. He was predeceased by his parents, Adelaide Jane Priestley and Francis John Rae McPhee. Alex is survived by his wife, Francesca Dinardo. Devoted father of Karen Keogh, Stephen McPhee and Erika Grande. Cherished grandfather of Philip Alexander and Jennifer Lynne Keogh. Dear brother of Francis Rae McPhee of Melbourne, Australia. Also survived by nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 12:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 722 Ridgewood Avenue (corner of Ridgewood Avenue and Van Dien Street), Ridgewood, NJ.
