-> Pembroke - Mrs. Aleene Cannady Lee, 92, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at her residence in Pembroke. Mrs. Lee was a lifetime resident of Bulloch and Bryan Counties. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was a lifelong dedicated member of the Ash Branch Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland E. Lee and a son, Jack Lee. Mrs. Lee was active in the community, a long time member of the Bryan County Home Demonstration Club. She was active in school affairs, serving a grade-mother for many of her children?s classes. Survivors: three sons and daughter-in-laws, William O. Lee and Ruth Lee of Springfield, Gerald and Betsy Lee of Brunswick, Terry Lee and Allene Lee of Savannah; two daughters and a son-in-law, June and Ray Wasilauskis of North Lake, IL and Linda Petersen of Savannah. thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren ; a sister, Mrs. Jackie Duggar of Pembroke, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Cannady Crane of Ellabelle, a number of nieces and nephews and long-time caregiver, Susie Magee. Visitation 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Ash Branch Primitive Baptist Church, Pembroke. Elders Harold Burnsed and Hubert Hendricks will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Frank Lee, Mark Lee, Patrick Wasilauskis, Kenny Petersen, Bobby Lee and Justin Lee.
