Alderic "Al" Richard Alderic "Al" Richard, 81, of Veteran's Health Unit, Moncton, passed away Thursday September 26, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born November 13, 1920 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Fred Richard, and Madeleine Roy. He retired in 1982 from City of Moncton Public Works Department. Al was also a Veteran of WWII, a member of CNR War Vets Association, and Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch # 6. He is survived by a sister-in-law Mary; several nieces, nephews, and a special friend Jean Marsden. He was predeceased by his sisters Eva, Rita; also his brothers Leo, and Edgar. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday September 28, 2002 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch # 6, will hold a service of remembrance at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
