LAW Albert Wilson August 11, 1918 - December 31, 2007 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bert was born and raised in Dumfries, Scotland, youngest son of John and Agnes Law. He served in World War II, from 1939 - 1945, North Africa, Italy, France, and Germany with the 61st Highland Anti-tank Reg., RA. Bert is survived by his loving wife, Jean, his beloved children, Joyce (Jim Turriff, deceased) and Norma (Joe Thomas). He was very proud of his grandchildren, Andrea (Shawn Crevier), Robert Turriff, Erin (Jim Fowler), and Carl Thomas (Monica) and was delighted with his great-grandchildren, Christina, Jimmy, Katie, and Nathan. Bert was a 30-year member of the International Typographical Union and was a Compositor with the Vancouver Sun for many years. There will be a celebration of Bert's life at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 8th at St. Philip's Church, 3737 West 27th Avenue, Dunbar Heights, Vancouver. No flowers by request.
