->LINCOLN andND WINN - Albert William Michaud, 86, husband of Patricia (Read) Ferris Michaud, died Jan. 24, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Winn, son of John and Hazel (Perry) Michaud.Albert was a faithful servant and follower of Jesus Christ. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army and the Air Force. He received honorable discharges from both branches. He loved his service to his Lord Jesus and to his country. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lincoln, for 30 years and served at The Sacred Heart Church of Winn for much of his younger years. He was a lifetime member of National Rifle Association and was also a 15-year member of American Legion. He was employed with Lincoln Pulp and Paper for more than 20 years, and was an active woodsman most of his life. If he saw a need and thought he could help, he did. He was a supporter of children through St. Jude Hospital and Eternal Word Television Network - EWTN. He did not fear hard work nor did he shy away for it.In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by three stepchildren, Peter Ferris and wife and their three children of Plymouth, N.H., Patrick Ferris of Lincoln, and Rae (Ferris) Robertson of Lincoln; two sisters, Phoebe Crocker of Exeter and Mary Grant of Brunswick; cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces; and the family cat, Sam. Albert was predeceased by his two brothers, John and Charles; and three sisters, Kathleen, Rosa and Josephine. Albert has changed his address to heaven, where his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has prepared for him a place. He will join other loved ones who have gone on before him. Where the circle of believers, with family and friends will never be broken or end.Friends may call 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated noon Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Myles Cyr, presiding.
