->Waterford - Albert Sterling "Scotty" Devlin, better known to family and friends as "Scotty", passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010. He married Helen Scaglia on Sept. 14, 1946, in St. Joseph Church in Chester. She predeceased him in December of 1985.The funeral will assemble at 9:15 a.m. on Friday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London, and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening.Memorial contributions may be made to either the New London or Waterford VFW Posts.
