Obituary of Albert-Logan Roy


ROY, Albert (Al) Logan. Passed away quietly with his family close to his side on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Born in 1926 in Toronto; Al moved to Cambridge with his family in 1970. He will be missed dearly by his loving wife Verna (Sadler); son Donald; and daughter Carol (Wayne Moffatt), of Montreal, QC; son Steven (Leslie) of Red Feather Lakes, CO; daughters Robin (Wayne Ridsdale); Lori (Larry Shepley) and Cindy, all of Cambridge. His sister Lorraine Avery of Pierrefonds, QC, also survives him. He was an extremely proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews. Al was a member of Galt Legion, branch 121. Cremation has taken place and Al will be laid to rest at Mount View Cemetery Columbarium, as per his wishes. A celebration of his life will take place at a date and location yet to be selected. Please contact the family at Celebrate-Al@hotmail.com for further details or to offer any words of condolence. The family would like to send sincere thanks to the Cambridge Fire Department, EMS, WRP and the amazing medical team and staff at CMH for their compassionate support during this difficult time.
