City of LakelandLAKELAND -- Mr. Albert King of Lakeland died of heart failure Sunday (Dec. 28, 2003) in Bartow. He was 90.Born in High Springs on Feb. 7, 1913, he came to Lakeland from there 58 years ago. He was a retired custodian for the city of Lakeland. He was a foster parent. He was a member of Sixth Street Church of Christ.Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife, Idell Foreman King. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra M. King, Tampa, Gloria King Ackerman, Lakeland; sisters, Emma King, Wille-Bell King Moon, both of Westerly, R.I.; five grandchil-dren.Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Sixth Street Church of Christ. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Coney Funeral Home.
