RAMSEY - Beard, Albert Henry, 85, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at his home. Henry was born January 23, 1928 in Breckenridge County, KY to the late Washington H. and Viola Cundiff Beard. He was a retired welder from Jeff Boat, Jeffersonville, IN. and a member of Local 89 Teamsters. Surviving are wife, Fern L. Wolfe Beard; daughter, Betty L. Sams (James), of Corydon, IN; sons, Dennis R. Beard of Chicago, IL and Roger L. Beard (Kimberly) of Corydon; sister: Dorothy Miller of Kentucky; brothers, Clifford (Rose) and Wayne Garrett of Kentucky; and grandsons, Weldon Sams (Nora) and Brandon Sams of Bloomington, IN. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery, Ramsey. Visitation: 2 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
